Old Scholars joined together to make this gathering one of the best since the first way back in 2003. I was delighted to be invited, so ably organised by Keverne Weston yet again. The “Old Faithfuls” turned out in force and we were all very pleased to see Peter Turner looking remarkably well.
Like many of the Class Organisers, Keverne was disappointed that many of the 54 group who were invited and unable to attend, did not even reply to the invitation -a quick message would have sufficed. That said, the lunch was great, intermingled with laughter and memories of all things connected with our youth and later.
I was particularly happy to meet “names” and put faces to names - to those of you who never came… what a great day you missed.
